Backstage at the Fall Winter 2026 show of Courrèges, skin quietly became one of the most important elements on the runway.
The Paris house, long admired for its cool futurism and sculpted silhouettes, reunited with Korean skincare powerhouse COSRX for their second official backstage collaboration during Paris Fashion Week. What began as a practical partnership last season has now evolved into something far more symbolic. For the first time in the history of Courrèges, a dedicated backstage beauty collaboration kit was created with a skincare brand.
It is a quiet but meaningful moment where fashion and skincare meet with equal importance.
The Courrèges Show FW Backstage Special Kit was designed specifically for the Fall Winter 2026 women’s ready-to-wear show. Rather than a commercial launch, the limited kit exists almost like a backstage secret. It was created exclusively for the runway team and presented only to a small circle of VIP guests and global influencers attending the show.

The products inside reflect the exact skincare ritual used backstage to prepare models before they stepped onto the runway.
Among them are COSRX’s peptide-focused treatments, including the 6 Peptide Skin Booster Serum, Peptide Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patch, and Peptide Collagen Lifting Glow Hydrogel Mask, alongside barrier-strengthening staples such as the Ceramide Skin Barrier Moisturizer and Ceramide Skin Barrier Moisturizing Mist.

One product made a particularly notable appearance backstage. COSRX introduced its newly launched One Step Original Peptide Collagen Lifting Glow Pad, marking the product’s first use in Europe during the Courrèges show.
But the real story is how skincare became part of the creative process.
Backstage beauty was directed by celebrated makeup artist Thomas de Kluyver, whose work with houses such as Dior, Prada and Gucci has made him one of fashion’s most influential beauty voices. For this show, the goal was not simply polished makeup. It was skin that felt alive under the lights.

That meant hydration, luminosity, and a complexion that reflected the clean futurism of the Courrèges aesthetic.
The result was runway skin that looked almost architectural in its clarity. Fresh, luminous, and quietly powerful against the brand’s signature silhouettes.
For COSRX, the collaboration signals something larger than a single fashion week moment. Founded in 2013, the brand built its reputation through a simple philosophy of effective ingredients and focused formulas. What started as a cult skincare label embraced by online communities has grown into one of the most recognisable names in K-beauty.
Its presence backstage at Paris Fashion Week places that philosophy directly inside fashion’s global conversation.
And for Courrèges, the partnership reflects the house’s enduring fascination with the future. The brand that once reimagined space-age dressing now recognises that beauty innovation belongs in the same conversation as fashion design.
On the runway, the collection delivered sculptural minimalism. Backstage, skincare helped bring the vision to life.
It is a reminder that modern luxury is no longer defined only by clothes. Sometimes, it begins with the skin beneath them.
